Acanthocalycium

Cactus that comes from Argentina. Its trunk is spherical although in some species he becomes cylindrical during the growth.
It requires a sun position total, although it does not resist temperatures you cold in winter.
These cactus are very popular in the gardens and collections of cactus due to their spectacular flowering, with flowers that leave a fleecy tube floral and which they only permanence a day.
In the photo the floral tube with the flower on the verge of opening itself can be appreciated.
It is multiplied easily from the lateral piston rods that they appear united to the central trunk and that they can separate without difficulty.
