I think we should bring some good weather and sunshine from Cuba that is what the garden needs. We all agreed that our holiday in Cuba has been one of the best we have past and we will return someday. People are working, especially when you discover that the average daily wage is equivalent to about 70 cents. Yes, 70 cents a day, you read it right the first time.
This is one reason why we recommend that you spend a holiday there, is one of the ways you can help the local population, bringing tourism dollars into the country.
The rain has been very beneficial to gardens and crops and fruits and vegetables, but you need the sun to ripen.
Our greenhouse is full of zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, and have grown to reach a good size, but the peppers and tomatoes are still very green, so we’ll have to make canned green tomatoes, you can bet that will mature together and we will have a surplus even think of sharing with other family members. All these vegetables and fruits can be grown outside in gardens but is better in a greenhouse.
Our dog is going to be himself after sulking for leave during the holidays, although there appears to be a little disgruntled since then, one of the tassels of one of the cushions had fallen and was soaked, but he had never done this before .
