Strategically distributed, torches can provide a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the garden on a clear night. Lighting is that games not only can be used indoors.

Outdoor lighting also brings us interesting contrasts in light. As you know, hours of availability and intensity of natural light range from the winter period and the summer months.

The torches are a novel alternative, rustic and romantic to warm summer nights, in which we can enjoy the garden in a small dining table or simply out to enjoy the breeze.

We do not require any support or wiring diagram, only to place containers. An alternative is the metal containers mounted on natural cane, which contain oil that allows light continuously for a period of 10 hours. May be placed on roads or around sources around the game table and chairs in a beautiful light show.

We have often asked when trying to combine plants in the garden and pool which species are most appropriate to place around the pool and how to materialize the relationship between the two.

Ideally choose those varieties that shine in the summer, because it is precisely the time when most used the pool. It is also desirable that the case of plants that will not mess too much the pool, leaving a lot of leaves, fruit or petals.

When the space is small in the pool area, it is best to choose species with low development in order to avoid causing an excessive shade or encroach upon other areas of the garden.

It is important to have a plant protection as a green wall to isolate the pool from other sectors or neighboring gardens and win in intimacy. At the same time, it should cover the views of the pool when children are at home to monitor them properly.

Of the metals steel and aluminum are the two most popular in interior decoration and exterior, steel is harder and is usually associated with higher quality and resistance, and however well-treated aluminum can have a good durability and has several advantages over the former.

First, aluminum is very light, that allows, when used in furniture making large these are not very heavy and can be easily moved and this is especially interesting in the garden, an open space at our disposal in that we may be interested in changing the location of furniture in the circumstances to the sun or the shade, abgrigo the walls of the house or poolside…

In addition to aluminum, is a younger material than steel, as far as construction and interior applications are concerned, that means that they are still researching its properties and possible treatments to optimize, but we know that supports better than steel various situations, to better absorb shocks and is more resistant to various corrosive agents, as well as their production is complicated though, recycling is easy and it makes you start to replace steel in many of its uses.

Besides the novelty possibly linked to the advantages mentioned above, it has become fashionable and garden furniture made of natural or lacquered aluminum are particularly topical, as well as these designs are often associated with modern lines, simple and cutting edge in contrast with I fetched the classics forged.

The proposal that we see in the picture is of the pot, combines aluminum and glass fibers, this is furniture designed to beautifully withstand the weather without requiring care or maintenance, elegant, and very young today.

- The wooden tables are based in nature and adapt perfectly to large tables with their family size. They have also sometimes extensions.
- The resin tables set the tone with a very contemporary design. More specifically dedicated to relaxation, this type of development often takes the appearance of a room with a table and comfortable armchairs.

Not all insects are bad for the species that inhabit our garden and should be viewed as pests. Some of them are beneficial, like the bee and its excellent relationship with flowers and fruits.

The truth is that many gardeners are unaware that a lot of flowers and many varieties of fruit should disappear if not for the bees. In turn, the plants feed these friendly insects.

Is that the bees need the flowers for nectar and pollen, which are without doubt the staple food for life. Flowers, meanwhile, require bees for pollination, allowing them to form seeds and fruits.

As in many other examples in nature, this really is a symbiotic relationship (without going in biological terms). A lifelong love at first sight that has no possibility of cheating.

In our previous post, we share some ideas about the utilities that can give the wood in our garden gazebo. We emphasize in addition, always compare the price / quality, which certainly deserves a look in terms of investment and not expenditure.

The key point is how to choose the wood for use outdoors. His attributes must be:

Highly resistant to deterioration from exposure to natural elements such as snow, rain, wind etc.

Also resistant to attack by insects and fungi, many of them generated due to a weakness in the previous section.

In this regard, councils are:

Evaluate in detail the starting point ie where the timber will be located, how exposed is (including sun exposure)

Choosing the proper wood for those conditions

Find out what the retail demand maintenance and how often.

What is the cost of products and labor in this regard.

As a general recommendation, I can tell you is that if you can invest, opt for the so-called hardwoods. At first they demand more work to cut, rails etc, but they are really tough and avoid them to expand, contract, bend etc inclement weather. These suggest: Lapacho (Tabebuia spp), Quebracho colorado (Schinopsis balansae) and Algarrobo (Prosopis alba and P.nigra).

It depends where the purchase, they can already be treated with products (ie ready to use) or virgin state, in this last if treatment is paramount, and always before assembling the structure designed to that intended.
